Lm5 · Central Bank 4th series
1986 · Central Bank of Malta
Agatha Barbara’s portrait identifies the fourth family. The fourth family introduced Lm2 and Lm20 notes alongside Lm5 and Lm10. The Lm1 note gave way to a coin in the same broad currency redesign. The presidential portrait separates these notes from the common Melita front used in the following family.
