30 tarì · Hompesch dies under French occupation
1798–1800 · French occupation administration
Hompesch’s portrait and dies continued to be used after the French took control. The museum account describes pellets near the nose or below the bust as distinguishing marks. The attribution of individual pellet varieties remains open to interpretation, so a pellet alone should not be treated as conclusive. These occupation restrikes belong beside the original Order issues, with their different administration made explicit.
