25c · 1st Anniversary of Republic

1975 · Central Bank of Malta

This 25-cent design marks the first anniversary of the Republic and displays the emblem adopted in 1974. It was added to the decimal circulation range after the original eight denominations. The issuer table also describes a particular presentation; its mintage must not be mistaken for the entire circulating issue.
