Lm10 · Central Bank 5th series
1989 · Central Bank of Malta
Melita holds a rudder on the common front design. The reverse gives this denomination its own identity within a family sharing the Melita front. A 1994 revision kept the principal designs while changing security features; those notes are recorded here as a family enhancement rather than additional base denominations. 7 June 1919 monument in Valletta appears on the back. The original green format measures 145 × 72.5 mm.

Nominal dimensions are unresolved. The archived fifth-series issuer page gives 145 × 72.5 mm; the current timeline says the fifth series was similar in size to the fourth, whose corresponding note is 152 × 72.5 mm. The repeated 145 mm widths may be page transcription errors. Neither figure is treated here as a verified fifth-series nominal measurement.
