Lm2 · Central Bank 5th series

1989 · Central Bank of Malta

Melita holds a rudder on the common front design. The reverse gives this denomination its own identity within a family sharing the Melita front. A 1994 revision kept the principal designs while changing security features; those notes are recorded here as a family enhancement rather than additional base denominations. Banka Ġuratali at Mdina and Rabat, Gozo appears on the back. The original red format measures 138 × 66.5 mm.
